In between jetting off to Estoril for testing and heading to the Algarve for Round 1 of the Iberian Supercar Endurance Series, you’d think Gracie might take a well-earned weekend off…

But nope! She is about to spend her “free” weekend right back where it all started—at a kart track.

Gracie will join the Manchester and Buxton Kart Club meeting at Three Sisters Circuit in Wigan, working alongside the crew from Teesside Karting, who often support events at different circuits as part of their wider series.

“I’ve worked there a few times before,” Gracie said. “This time I am possibly going to be in the stewards’ room. If there’s an incident, the two drivers get called in and the stewards decide whether there’s a penalty—it’s always interesting being on that side of things!”

From Driver to Coach (and Chaos-Watcher 😂)

Gracie’s no stranger to the Three Sisters track—she used to race there herself. And even now, she finds it fun to head back and watch the chaos unfold.

“It’s always full of energy, and even though I’m not driving, I still pick things up when I’m watching. The kids are so brave and sometimes just need calming down rather than toughening up—it’s the opposite of what people might think.”

Gracie often sees little bits of her younger self in the drivers she helps coach.

“Some just need more confidence to trust themselves and their kart, which is exactly what I was like. You can really understand how they’re feeling when you’ve been there yourself.”

Even in between international races, Gracie finds time to stay connected to the grassroots of motorsport—giving back, learning, and keeping that karting fire alive. 🔥

Next up: Algarve, Portugal, 5–6 April – and the start of a huge season ahead!
