Gracie recently concluded her debut season in the Fun Cup Championship with a commendable performance at Oulton Park.
Representing the GMR/Eco team, Gracie, partnered with rookie teammate Will Antrobus, completed two challenging races, finishing 17th in both against a fierce field that included British Touring Car and GT champions. This result marks a strong end to a year of growth and achievement for Gracie.
Starting her journey in 2023 with a final-round debut in the Fun Cup, Gracie launched fully into her racing career in 2024. Her adaptability shone throughout the season as she handled six different teammates and adapted quickly to various challenges. Aside from the Fun Cup, Gracie also showed her prowess in the Ginetta GT Championship, clinching a podium in her debut—a remarkable accomplishment considering the increased speed and intensity of the series. Her skill and composure in changeable conditions at Donington Park further underscored her natural talent.
Gracie’s commitment to endurance racing has remained central to her 2024 campaign. Competing in the Silverlake C1 Endurance Series, she finished within the top 30 at Donington and achieved a top-15 finish at Silverstone in September, where her team consistently aimed for the top 10. Her strong partnership with fellow drivers Matt Hyde and Oran Hickinson in this series has reinforced her determination and skill in longer racing formats.
The Fun Cup Championship itself provided many highlights. Gracie’s home race at Croft was a particular standout, where she and teammate Rob Croydon secured a season-best finish in tenth place, showcasing a solid qualifying performance and competitive driving. While not entering every round, Gracie used her breaks wisely to hone her skills, racing in an endurance karting event at Le Mans where she earned a second-place finish.
The season finale at Oulton Park was a true test, with Gracie’s driving once again proving her versatility. Partnered with Antrobus, she navigated tricky conditions to secure two consistent finishes, banking valuable experience as she aims to build on her achievements for the 2025 season.
Gracie has shown exceptional promise in her rookie season, and as she looks forward to another year in endurance racing, her journey is one to watch closely.
