On the 7th-8th of September, I had the opportunity to compete in the British GT’s support event: Ginetta GT championship, for another one-off race weekend with McKenna Driver Development.

Throughout the weekend, in front of over 10,000 fans, I successfully came away with two class podiums in race 1 and 2. However, as expected up against full-season contenders, qualifying was quite a challenge. This set me up for two exciting races ahead!
Race 1 resulted in a third in class after a great battle with 4th, which was enjoyable to be under pressure when it came to maintaining that podium spot. After this result, we ended the first day of racing on a high, as Sunday belonged to race 2 and 3.

In race 2, once again, we achieved third in class. After an entertaining race, gaining overall positions, coming under
pressure in the closing laps, I sustained that podium position which set me up well for race 3.
Although race 3 was disappointing after obtaining damage on the opening lap and retiring, it was awesome to come back to the Ginetta GT Championship after over 3 months. I had lots of fun, came away with some great results and a massive thank you to everyone
involved.
