This weekend at Donington Park has been one I’ll never forget.

Coming into the first round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB season at Donington Park, I honestly didn’t know what to expect. The journey just to get here has been huge, from working tirelessly to secure sponsorship, to finally seeing my car wrapped in my favourite colours which just blew me away when I saw it revealed, it kind of already felt like a win before I’d even turned a wheel. But once I got to the circuit, it was time to focus.

We knew it was going to be a challenge heading into the weekend with minimal testing but we had a great qualifying setting up in P2 for races one and two. Every session was about learning, from learning the car, learning the tyres, and learning how to race at this level. Step by step, I started to find my rhythm and build confidence.

Race 1 was all about settling in and making progress. I kept things clean, stayed consistent, and brought the car home with a strong result to start the weekend. From there, everything just seemed to click. Race 2 gave me the chance to push a bit harder, and I could feel the improvement in a number of areas.

By Race 3, I was fully in the zone.

To come away with three second-place finishes in the Club Sport class, which means three podiums in my first weekend in the Porsche challenge is something I’m incredibly proud of and probably won’t sink in for a few days. Looking at the results, being right up there in class across all three races shows just how much progress we made over the weekend.

This weekend was about everything behind the scenes, not just me, but the people who have supported me, believed in me, and helped make this opportunity possible. Without my sponsors and my family, and everyone backing my journey none of this would have happened. To represent them on the podium three times makes it even more special, and there’s still so much more to come.

This is just the beginning of the season, and I know there’s more pace to unlock and more to learn. We’ll take everything from this weekend, the positives, the lessons, and the momentum and carry it forward into the next round.

I’m leaving Donington proud, motivated, and hungry for more.

Let’s see what we can do next.

Onwards,

Gracie
