Gracie Mitchell continued her impressive start to life in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Great Britain with another standout performance at Oulton Park, securing three podium finishes across the weekend, including her maiden victory in the championship.

The Teesside racer arrived at the Cheshire circuit looking to build on the momentum gained during her debut outing in the series and left having further strengthened her position amongst the championship’s leading contenders.

Competing against one of the most competitive grids in British motorsport, Gracie demonstrated pace throughout the weekend, combining consistency with racecraft to secure silverware in every race and take an important first win in Porsche competition.

Following a positive start in practice, Gracie and the team worked through a series of setup changes ahead of qualifying, aiming to maximise performance around the challenging Oulton Park circuit. The preparations paid dividends, with Gracie securing a pole-position that put her firmly in contention for podium honours.

Race one saw Mitchell immediately establish herself at the front of the field, battling hard and securing her maiden victory in the championship after a mature and measured drive.

Gracie said: “ Looking back from where I started at Donington I’ve definitely come a long way, especially having not been out in the car for over a month, and to come out on top for the first time in the first race after double-pole was an absolutely amazing achievement that I still haven’t processed yet. The confidence that this has given me has helped me believe and prove to myself that I can do it.”

With confidence at its peak and pace evident, Gracie returned for race two, televised live on ITV4,  determined to secure another victory. A strong start and consistent race pace kept her firmly in contention throughout, allowing her to secure second place and a second podium finish of the weekend and maintain her run of strong results. Race three ended with the same result following a safety car intervention, second place, and a third podium in front of a huge Oulton Park crowd.

Gracie continued: “ The next round will be at Knockhill up in Scotland and it’s a track I have never seen before, but I am already getting lots of practise in on my simulator to give myself the best chance possible. Coming away so far this season after 6 races with 6 podiums and one win, I’m confident in carrying on this momentum forward into the next round. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has been involved this weekend from the Driving coaches to the team to my teammates as well as family friends and sponsors. I couldn’t do it without you guys and I’m already itching to get back out on track”

The achievement represents another significant step forward in Gracie’s career as she continues her progression through the motorsport ranks. Having already attracted significant media attention following her move into the Porsche Sprint Challenge, the latest results further underline her credentials as one of the sport’s emerging young talents.

The weekend’s success was made possible through the support of Gracie’s growing network of partners, sponsors, family and supporters, all of whom continue to play a vital role in her development both on and off the circuit.

As the championship moves into its next phase, she will look to build on the momentum generated at Oulton Park and continue her challenge towards the front of the standings.
