A great way to see out the Silverlake C1 Endurance championship with Dragonsport by Amigo Motorsport, which showed the heaps of progress made since the first time out earlier this year at Donington!
Without a doubt, this race was very chaotic. After qualifying 24th overall, we knew this first stint was going to be vital when it came to moving up the grid. With our car making multiple places in the first stint, the race was looking promising as we were running in the top 5. Unfortunately, with nearly an hour long safety car, this was a huge disadvantage with pit-stop strategy meaning a higher result was hindered. The car crossed the line in 14th after a long 3 hour race.
Regardless of the situation myself and the team faced, it was great to see how far we had come this year. I couldn’t thank the team and everyone involved enough for their support and given opportunities.
I now look towards the finale of the FunCup Endurance Championship: Saturday 26th October at Oulton Park. Certainly looking forward to getting back out at Oulton Park for my last race of the 2024 season!
